Ingredients
- ●1/2 cup (120ml) coarsely ground nuts
- ●dash of salt
- ●4 tbs (60ml) butter (margarine) cut into small pieces
- ●1 1/4 cup (300ml) flour
- ●3-5 tbs (45ml) cold water
- ●1 cup (240ml) whole wheat bread crumbs
- ●1/4 c whole wheat flour
- ●1/2 c wheat germ
- ●1/2 c rolled oats
- ●1/2 tsp (3ml) salt
- ●dash basil and/or marjoram
- ●1/2 c melted butter (margarine)

NUT CRUST: Combine nuts, margarine, salt & flour — use pastry cutter until it looks like coarse corn meal.

Gradually drizzle in water. When dough adheres to itself there is enough water.

Roll out dough and form crust. Chill until time to fill.

CRUMB CRUST: Mix dry ingredients, drizzle in melted butter, toss with fork until uniformly moistened.

Press into 9" buttered pie pan. Pre bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 min.
