Ingredients

  • 2- 2 lb chickens quartered
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) oil
  • 1 tsp (5ml) salt
  • 1/8 tsp (1ml) pepper
  • 2 cups (480ml) chopped celery
  • 3 chopped carrots
  • 2 sliced onions
  • 1 can tomato sauce with mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) water
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) dry wine
  • 1/2 tsp (3ml) marjoram

Instructions

    Brown chicken with garlic and oil.

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Brown celery, carrots and onions.

    Pour off excess fat.

    Add rest of ingredients.

    Bake covered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
