Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. (225g) Butter
  • 1/2 lb. (225g) Cream Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Spry (vegetable shortening; substitute Crisco or any solid vegetable shortening)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) cold milk
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla
  • 1 tsp (5ml) baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp (3ml) salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 cup (240ml) flour
  • nuts (for filling)
  • raisins (for filling)
  • cinnamon (for filling)
  • sugar (for filling)

Instructions

    Combine above ingredients in a bowl & mix well.

    Refrigerate for 2 hours.

    Roll out very thin.

    Fill with nuts, raisins & cinnamon & sugar.
