Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (180ml) margarine
  • 3 oz (85g) Nestle baking chocolate
  • 1 1/2 cup (360ml) sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp (8ml) vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp (3ml) salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup (360ml) flour
  • 1/2 tsp (3ml) baking powder
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) raspberry jam
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) coconut or chopped walnuts

    Melt margarine & chocolate. Cool slightly.

    Beat eggs till thick & foamy.

    Beat in sugar.

    Stir in the melted margarine & chocolate & vanilla.

    Stir in flour, baking powder & salt.

    Turn into greased 9x13 inch pan.

    Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
